The Museu de Belles Arts de Valencia museum is worth visiting just to see the magnificently restored religious art from the 14th and 15th centuries. We were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful each piece was since much of the art from this time period that we have seen in other museums is dark and covered with centuries of pollution. Instead, these works are richly colored and framed in intricate and brilliant gold frames.
Among the collection we also found a few exquisitely carved desks and chests.
