The Valencia City of Arts and Sciences is stunning to say the least (I seem to use that word a lot lately). We went to the City of Arts and Sciences, or the CAC as the locals call it, to see the Ninot Exhibition 2018. So much has been said about this architectural delight that it is hard to blog about it so we are leaving it as a footnote for now. However, we did buy tickets to not only the Ninot Exhibition 2018 but the Oceanogràphic Museum and the El Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe, “an interactive museum of science that resembles the skeleton of a whale”. They had some great exhibits inside but the dinosaur exhibit was the one that best caught our imaginations.
The Opera House at the north end of the complex is both inspiring and stunning. Julia and I enjoy opera and to see an opera inside the El Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía is now a goal of ours before we leave Valencia. Keep your fingers crossed for us since all performances are currently sold out.
