This is a small museum that focuses on the origins of life and evolution up to the time of the dinosaurs. It is composed mainly of bones and fossils. They do have have a complete skeleton of an extinct giant ground sloth, called a Megatherium. Julia had just finished reading a book that talked about this animal so it was fascinating to see how gigantic it was.
In a separate part of this Natural Science Museum there was, an unusal display that seemed out of place, a room solely dedicated to coffee. The two photos of the coffee laden trucks certainly made us smile. With the exception of India, we have tasted and enjoyed coffee from every other country identified in the photo of coffee bean samples. A visit to India may have to be in our longer term travel plans.
