The National Museum of Ceramics is housed in a palace that dates from the 15th century. Both the exterior and the interior are striking and we can certainly understand why it is listed in the top three museums to visit in Valencia.
In the 17th century this museum was redecorated in the Rococo style, busy, albeit beautiful and over-the-top. The designs, materials and color choices are magnificent. Walls, ceilings and floors are completely covered in marble, tiles and frescoes. Every square inch/centimeter is decorated. Although the walls and ceilings were some of our favorite parts, the furniture, art and decorative pieces are also gorgeous and extremely well cared for. This museum is definitely worth a visit.
