The visit in 1913 of R. Poincaré, the new President of the Third Republic, took place at a very delicate moment on the international scene. With his coming, the French president sought to strengthen the understanding between France and Spain. Morocco and the capture of profitable trade agreements were the main issues to be addressed by both diplomacies.
